Sabato 28 aprile Douglas ha partecipato alla proiezione di "Mary Shelley" in occasione del Tribeca Film Festival di New York.

Douglas, l'unico membro del cast presente, insieme a alla regista Haifaa al-Mansour e la produttrice Amy Baer hanno calcato il red carpet e hanno fatto un breve Q&A dopo la proiezione del film, eccone un piccolo estratto:
